Google's Chrome OS
has now reached version 0.9.130.14 and includes the Chrome 8.0.522.344 web browser. In this release, Google has updated the kernel to fix a security vulnerability along with stability fixes for wireless networking and improvements to the audio architecture.
This latest beta release of Chrome seems to focus on fixing network related issues, with the majority of updates related to WiFi or 3G connectivity. These include updates for a network disconnection bug, support for raw WPA-SK security, increased stability when WPA2+ TKIP is used, enabling WiFi connectivity after sleeping and resuming Chrome OS devices and "proper error messages" when 3G connectivity fails.
